Who qualifies for the Senior Shared ride program?
Anyone who is 65 or older and a resident of Bradford, Sullivan or Tioga Counties of Pennsylvania and is registered with EMTA qualifies to ridethe Senior Shared ride program.
How to Register for EMTA Senior Service:
In order to use the door to door shared ride service for Seniors you must be registered with EMTA. To register with EMTA fill out the Eligibility form. Download page one here.You may go to one of our offices and fill out the form or call usat1-800-242-3484 and we will complete the Eligibility form for you over the phone. Then mail it to you for your signature.
You will need to sign the Eligibility form and return it to EMTA with proof of your age.

Photocopy any of the following for proof of age and send it along with your eligibility form to EMTA.

Door to Door Shared ride
Remember Senior door to door service is a shared ride program and not a taxi.You will be sharing the vehicle with other riders, so trips may take longer than in a private automobile and we may need you to adjust your appointment times to insure on-time arrival for everyone.
For most convenient service make your appointments between the hours of 8a.m. and 1 p.m. All appointments must be made before 1 p.m.
Seniors with Transit ID card may ride the Blue Bus Free.
